Outback Steakhouse Signature Steaks

Wholly Cow – Outback Steakhouse Signature Steaks

When go to the Outback, do you choose something off of the Outback Steakhouse Signature Steaks menu? I love Outback steaks; they are juicy, tasty and cooked exactly how I like them. There are options galore to choose from in regards to how the meat is cooked to how it’s seasoned.

The Outback Steakhouse signature steaks can be cooked either the classic ‘seasoned and seared’ method or the new wood-fire grilled method. Each selection will be cooked to order and is complimented with either Outback’s Walkabout Soup or a signature side salad as well one additional side.

OB-steak-picWhen you look over the Signature Steaks menu, take notice that it is broken up into two parts. One is a list of steaks that are recommended to be cooked the classic ‘seasoned and seared’ method and the other list is recommended to be cooked the new wood-fire grilled method. But you don’t have to go with the recommendation; the choice is up to you.

Under first part of the Outback Steakhouse Signature Steaks list offers 3 options that will be sure to get your taste buds active. The first is the Outback Special, and then there is Victoria’s Filet and then the New York Strip. Under the second part of the list, there are some heartier selections to choose from. You will find the Ribeye, the Porterhouse, the Teriyaki Filet Medallions (served with red and green peppers and onions) and the Herb Roasted Prime Rib.

Oh my gosh; I can just imagine one of the above selections sizzling on a plate in front of me right now. Did you know that you outback-steakhouse-steak-piccould also add more a bigger punch to one of the Outback Steakhouse Signature Steaks? You can; you can request to add a Blue Cheese Crumb Crust, a Horseradish Crumb Crust, grilled shrimp, sautéed mushrooms, grilled scallops and even a lobster tail (for a nominal fee of course).

Speaking of these extra punches of flavor, have you tried the Blue Cheese Crumb Crust or the Horseradish Crumb Crust? If you haven’t, you should! Try the Horseradish Crumb Crust on the Herb Roasted Prime Rib; it’s a little different than what you might expect but it has a flavor all its own. Or, according to the menu, you can try either on the Victoria’s Filet for a nice change of pace.

Don’t forget that if you want some surf and turf, check out the items on the “Perfect Combinations” menu. There are selections that offer a filet with shrimp or lobster tail and sirloin and shrimp too. Oh, and there is the Filet Wedge Salad on the “Soups & Salads” menu. This fresh option is a petite filet that has been wood-fire grilled and is placed on Iceberg lettuce then topped with red onions, grape tomatoes, Blue Cheese dressing, Blue Cheese crumbles and then lastly topped with a delicately sweet balsamic glaze.

Well, that’s that; I know where we are having dinner tonight! If you are need of a night out and have a hankering for a nice steak, head to the Outback and check out the Outback Steakhouse Signature Steaks menu for yourself!
